ADDS Enhancements. NEW Name searching is now available! You can now search for a name and see the alphabetical list of results. Design record results can then be displayed for the selected name(s).

A number of other changes have also been implemented. These include:
- Converted information now available for design records on the main details page.
- Additional statuses for pending formalities and examination activities.
- Corrections to some advanced searching options, and
- Additional navigation buttons.

Introduction

Quick reference guides for searches that you are likely to use are available by clicking on the "Quick Guide" button (above). While all of the information and notifications that appear in the Australian Official Journal of Designs (AOJD) is available, most of the information is updated nightly rather than waiting for the fortnightly publication of the AOJD.

If you have previously enquired on Desadmin, the Designs Administration system, the data is presented differently to Desadmin and is only updated nightly. If you believe that the data is otherwise not 'correct' please notify IP Australia on designs@IPAustralia.gov.au so that we can investigate and correct the data as necessary.

It is recommended that professional assistance (such as from a patent attorney and/or a commercial search service provider) be obtained before significant business decisions are made based on the information available on this database.
